主要从事造山带结构-构造解析,扎根新疆,聚焦中亚造山带西段,通过解剖造山带弧前盆地、俯冲-增生杂岩、高压/超高压变质带等地体的物质组成、构造变形、以及运动学特征,厘定其大地构造单元属性、时空配置关系,以及构造古地理演化。服务于“一带一路”新疆-中亚跨境矿产能源领域的基础研究。
主持国家自然科学基金项目2项、科技部第三次新疆综合科考子课题1项、新疆维吾尔自治区重点研发项目课题1项、中国科学院西部青年学者项目1项。
